Channell

Dear Diane,
Greeting to you and the entire team at the Humans of San Quentin! It is my wish that
each of you are safe, well, and being blessed!

I am doing the best I can in the midst of all the chaos which continues to swirl around me each day.

I received your mail with my pictures last night. Thank you so much! The mail was a little late in the evening, so I must admit that I have yet to finish reading it all. But I wanted to write and thank you immediately! And there must have been some angel in the mailroom because my mail was in color! That was truly a blessing!

I apologize for not informing you about our mail restrictions, but they only follow those at times. It is so disorganized in this institution. We poor inmates just never really know what to expect on any given day. Nothing is constant here but change. And as for my photo, I will include my mother’s home address just to be safe and you can send them to her if you do not mind. Thank you so much!

And thank you once again for allowing my voice to be heard. It means the world to me! Let me know if there is ever anything I can do for you in return. Be blessed and have a great day!

Respectfully Submitted,
Chanell
