Dearest Humans of San Quentin,
I am so happy for your success and for the love you have shown me and my stories of my kids and my life outside of these walls.
I have been extremely busy launching F4F Boxing in California State Prisons and pushing for this to become a legitimate R.A.C program. I finally graduated college with my A.A. degree in sociology with general education honors. I have been building support from important people around the world for my release and the start of my new life.
I am renewing my athletic license and fighting for a championship belt. I am also helping start the Gladiator boxing super league with prospects coming from prison to help people accomplish their dreams.
I stay humble spiritually through prayer. I am now a fire tender at the SVSP native circle in the sweat lodge. I have become somewhat of a celebrity inside these walls. I am also going on my sixth year as a visiting partner, a job that allows me to interact with people from the community and stay in tune without too much institutionalized mentality.
I have kept myself preserved and in great health. The evolution of myself has produced a real fire within me to keep pursuing everything I dreamed of. I have re ignited old prayers and love back into my life. Even with so much on my plate, I still have time to love someone special. I want love again. I want to kiss again. I want to hear the voice of a woman and share conversation. I am ready to move forward in my life. Every great kingdom has a king and a queen, and I need that feminine touch in my life.
I am very different from the man who came to prison. I did not waste time. I set out my plans and put one foot in front of the other and never looked back. I only have a couple of years left until my release and I am ready to embark on a new journey.
The plan has been executed with only a few bumps, but nothing strong enough to stop me.
I am happy to feel like I am not a wasted life. Everything is precious in my eyes.
There is no ugly, only beauty in its own way. God has opened my eyes through the sweat lodge and my communication with my ancestors. My life is at a stage of evolution.
With the right mindset, prayers, body, friends, love, and attitude, you can accomplish anything. I want to continue growing and share that growth with someone who will love me and motivate me.
I am ready for the world. I am ready for release. I am ready for my shot at being great.
