I miss my 4 year old daughter and family. I am not what statistics say I am, nor how it defines me. I came to prison head strong with God behind me. As the prison lingo goes, I did not come in here thinking I had to bulldog or think of this as another world.. I am truly blessed.

Daddy Issues

Jesus did not have an earthly father (Mark 14:34), but a step father (Luke 26-35). Who was an abusive father or never was there? Parable of the lost son (Luke 15:11-19). God is all our father because we all were born in a sinful world with earthly fathers and mothers. Bad or good, example. This does not mean God does not have a plan for us because of someone else’s free will. I took a back turn just like in the parable of the lost son, spending all his father’s money. Romans 8:3 says we are weak, maybe lost. There is no rule book to this. This is why we repent and turn. That’s when you wake up and realize who you are. Who you came from is God. We all desire to be with someone.

In the beginning, in Genesis, a voice, God, said to man, you shall not be alone. But we all try to fill that void with someone or something. Just remember Jesus went through betrayal, abandonment and cried out in desperation. He was human too, but he is a perfect man. We are all imperfect.

On a good note… a funny memory. When I was in high school, I was smoking marijuana in my room and I got caught by my granny. She said, “Let me hit that cigarette.” Of course I did. We both laughed and had a great moment. Then my granny said, “Now help me change my diaper.” LOL

Thanks for reaching out to me. I thank you for this opportunity.
