When I was on the outside, I had a job as a server in a restaurant, and I had an amazing employer who stood by me through so much. They always treated me with incredible kindness, supporting me through addiction, treatment, jail, and prison. Thanks to their unwavering support and being my biggest fan club, I was able to recover from multiple substances. Now, I’m proud to say I’ve been sober from heroin for over five years without the help of Methadone or Suboxone and for eight months from everything else, I have survived on their unconditional love and support. They helped me find my way back to myself, and I love them for it!
