What I will say is that I found His word, His voice, in prison.
I’ve never considered myself a religious person, although I am very spiritual. I believed in GOD, but not in the Bible. I didn’t believe that we, as humans, could keep something straight for 5,000 years. That being said, the truth is I’ve never given HIM the time He deserved. I know how cliché it is to say “I found GOD in prison,” and that’s not what I’m telling you, either. What I will say is that I found His word, His voice, in prison. I start every day with a prayer and a praise, then I let my Bible fall open to wherever it will. To my amusement, there’s always a message in what I’m reading. So I encourage everyone to give God’s word some time.
