What I Want People to Know About Me
Heraclitus says it best: “No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it is not the same river and he is not the same man.” Coming to prison has saved my life. I’m not the same person I was before prison, that’s for sure. I’ve never felt more free than I do now. Things are different. I am changing. I went through life as a lost little girl. When I leave here, I’ll be going through life as a grown-ass woman, living a whole new life with better things ahead of me, building stronger relationships with my loved ones. I have God to thank for it. Stand strong and stand firm for yourself, and for those around you.
