Please bear with me, I’m a little nervous.I’ve been locked up for almost ten years. To make a long story short, I started doing drugs at 12, which led me in and out of prison. This is my longest stay and it will be my last. I’ve given my life to Jesus, and He is in control now. I’m not perfect, but I’m healing every day. I’ve relapsed a couple of times in here because, honestly, there are more drugs inside here than out in the free world. It’s hard to stay clean, but I’ve now been clean for two years. Since being here, I’ve accomplished a lot. I’ve completed over a hundred classes and earned a trade in cosmetology. I’ve grown as an individual. I’m not the same person I was when I got here.
