Family has always been important to me.

I grew up in West LA, specifically in the Crenshaw District. The day I married my first wife, Audrea, was one of my cherished memories. She was beautiful, fine, and cuteโ€”my high school sweetheart.

We got married in my motherโ€™s backyard with about 40 family members and loved ones in attendance. I was a handsome, confident young manโ€”a player who was known for cracking the code with all the beautiful women. But Audrea and I fell in love, and when it came time for us to marry, we were inseparable.

I still remember the day vividly. I smoked a chronic blunt with someone who was supposed to be my homeboy, but at the altar, we exchanged our vows while gazing into each otherโ€™s eyes. I told her I was investing my love, my time, and my money into her. She smiled and then we shared a French kiss. I was just 18, married to my baby mama. Our love was full of passion, and the honeymoon at the Radisson Hotel was unforgettable. I wish we had filmed the wedding, but I have the pictures to remind me of that special day. Family has always been important to me.
