The way you not only posted my pictures, story, and poem but gave me such wonderful feedback and sent me the comments people had left made me feel so seen, heard, and valued.

Dear Humans of San Quentin,
I just wanted to say thank you so much for everything the Humans of San Quentin has done for me. Ever since I met the ladies who came in for the Day of Peace we had last year, I have been blown away by the fact that you all care so much. The way you not only posted my pictures, story, and poem but gave me such wonderful feedback and sent me the comments people had left made me feel so seen, heard, and valued.

Every single event I have been to here at San Quentin Rehabilitation Center, your booth has the most kind-hearted, best-spirited people who not only make me feel human, but also truly care and shine light in such a dark place. I look forward to helping Humans of San Quentin both now and in three years when I get out of prison, and I am happy to do so because you help us so much.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
