Dear Diane & The Humans of San Quentin Team,

Wishing you all many blessings and good health. Diane, thank you for your thoughtful presentation, recognizing my journey and my efforts to bring confidence to those who feel theyโ€™ve lost it. I truly appreciate your wisdom and dedication in sharing my story. My gratitude is beyond words.

My story inspires me to remember rising from the ashes of humiliation to achieve multiple rehabilitation awards and the incredible accomplishment of serving as the presiding chairman of Alcoholics Anonymous at Salinas Valley State Prison.

Itโ€™s an honor to know my story will be used as an educational tool to shed light on life behind bars. Your correspondence has really uplifted me, and Iโ€™m grateful.

Iโ€™m happy to do a follow-up interview with you or your team. Also, I was granted PAROLE on 12-4-2024! Iโ€™ll let you know when I receive the exact date.

Sending good vibes,
Alvis
