I will be the change that I want to see in the world.

I have been incarcerated for five years for attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. Being in prison has shown me the person I truly am. I took all the chances I could take to become a better me. I hope to prevent a crime like mine from happening again.

I’ve participated in drug rehabilitation programs, emotional health and awareness programs, attended college and I am an alumnus of a domestic violence program. I want to start a non-profit that leads youth to a desired job after being informed of different trades and careers they can be happy with. I believe if you fix the child, you can heal the future. Our kids will be the future. I will be the change that I want to see in the world.
