Since coming to the U.S., I’ve done everything I can to support my family.

I was born in Guerrero, Mexico and came to the United States in 2011. I’ve spent the last 14 years working in construction in Modesto, California. I have a wife and six children, two boys and four girls. Growing up in Mexico, I only went to school until the 6th grade. I did not come from a wealthy family, we were poor. Since coming to the U.S., I’ve done everything I can to support my family. But being in prison has made that even harder, so I’ve become self-sufficient. I take full ownership of my life and stay productive every day. I spend time in church, and I’m a believer in Jesus Christ, knowing that He loves me and blesses me with this talent and patience I never knew I had. I believe God has a plan for me. God bless.
