I love all my brothers and sisters behind these walls. Weโ€™re in this together, and there is still a future waiting for you.

It hasnโ€™t been easy. There have been a lot of ups and downs. I lost my mom while I was locked up, and my family moved away, leaving me here to figure things out on my own. That kind of pain cuts deep. Honestly, this experience has changed me in ways I never expected. Iโ€™ve been clean from drugs. This is the longest Iโ€™ve ever stayed clean in my life. That alone is a huge blessing. Now, I teach Addiction and Recovery and Trauma Talks, and helping others heal has helped me heal too. Iโ€™ve got a job with Magcor, and the amazing part is theyโ€™re going to hire me when I get out. My life has completely turned around. Itโ€™s not a 360. Iโ€™m not going back where I started. Itโ€™s a full transformation, and Iโ€™m proud of how far Iโ€™ve come. To anyone just coming in, feeling lost or broken, get into every program you can. Do the work. Take the help. Youโ€™ll be surprised at how your life can start to shift. God will give back everything you thought you lost. Keep your head up. I love all my brothers and sisters behind these walls. Weโ€™re in this together, and there is still a future waiting for you.
