I wanted to tell you about my published prison cookbook, The Microwave Manifesto: Food and Philosophy Behind Bars by Sirii.

My book features almost 60 recipes I have discovered in my time in prison using commissary food. But that is not all it is. As you probably know, food needs soul to taste good, so included in this book are inspirational quotes and associated journal prompts with room to write.

Not only that, but there are how tos that make prison life easier and six personal essays about what I have discovered to be helpful in my life and my time behind bars.
The book is self published on Amazon.com and will hopefully be published on Barnes and Noble if we can figure out how.

It is my hope that you could help spread the word using your platform. My goal is to help people sustain themselves, body and soul during their incarceration, as well as help people on the outside understand what it is like on the inside.

I am also published on Substack. My personal Substack is under Sirii Mali. I give you permission to republish my short essay, Mood Rings: A Prison Privilege. I also have two longer essays on the Zona Motel Substack, Genuine Genius and Prison Critique Chic.

I also have published under Sirii, The Pen Pal Question Guide, which is exactly what it sounds like, 250 questions to ask your pen pal with room to write.

I also just want to thank you for what you do. Reducing the stigma of felons is admirable work, especially in the largest penal colony in the world.
Have a wonderful day.
Love and Light,
