I survived! I was found suitable for parole on March 25th after 25 plus years. I am a man making much better decisions than I did 25 years ago. This is my last in prison pictures and the last writing to HoSQ from within these walls. HoSQ has, in the last five years, given me the opportunity to learn how a person grows in the embrace of a nonprofit. I am committed to Diane Kahnโs mission and vision to bring into the light, incarcerated persons that feel unheard and unseen. The inside team is the heart of what we do, and I have been grateful to be a part of the Humans of San Quentinโs inside team as communication director. I am very happy and confident the team will continue to move the mission onward and upward. I am passing my position over to an amazing human of San Quentin, Ian Hamilton. I have worked with Ian on many fronts and am confident he will work hard broadening our presence. Ian will take my position as the Communication Director andย I will continue to mentor him from afar and am looking forward to working with the outside team from my soon to be new residence in Monterey this summer.ย
