They used to sit there together, such a priceless view and location.

My mother, Margaret Ann, passed away last Monday at the age of 96. Iโ€™m doing alright. My father passed two years ago. They had purchased a bench for the city of Santa Barbara on a trail overlooking the Pacific Ocean, with a plaque bearing their names. My fatherโ€™s ashes were scattered there, and my motherโ€™s will be as well. My siblings sent me pictures of the bench and plan to do the same for my motherโ€™s memorial. They used to sit there together, such a priceless view and location. What Iโ€™ll miss the most is our shared birthday celebrations. Hers was on May 15th, and mine just two days later. We would always celebrate together, and they would often visit me around our birthdays. Hearing her voice was always a great comfort. My best friend, Joe Altadonna, is waiting for me to join him in Bolinas behind Mary Magdalene Catholic Church and Cemetery. Heโ€™s in plot #173, and Iโ€™ll be in #174. They were $1,500 each back in 2006, but now theyโ€™re $5,000 each. I own property in West Marin Countyโ€”just look for the tallest redwood tree. Iโ€™m blessed to have a relationship with my ex, Sharen, and our three children. Itโ€™s truly wonderful, and it continues to flourish. Miracles do happen!
