Gizmo’s little life is precious to everyone who meets him.
When I rub Gizmo’s broad chest, he responds with a lick on my forearm, his sad puppy eyes captivating me. As we walk around the track, his ears bounce forward in the cutest way, and everyone admires his curly pug tail. Though he’s social, Gizmo can be cautious, approaching people slowly.
He has a soft spot for peanut butter, so I happily share my pack from lunch. When he sees someone he likes, he pulls his little ears back and wags his tail slowly. It’s hard to believe someone once abandoned this adorable pup—he was nearly put down, but thankfully, he was rescued.
