People behind these walls don’t always know how valuable their words are, because they have allowed their childhood or prison sentence to limit them.
Writing has taken me all around the world. It has allowed me to share my faith in Jesus Christ, my wisdom, and my experience with so many people. It has helped me release my anger, my fear, and most of all my shame from the abuse I went through with my mom, which Jesus healed me from and restored our relationship.
My writing has helped me reconnect with my family. I am blessed. I want to thank you for the great work you are doing by giving people a platform to heal and reconnect with society, to help others. I came across Humans of San Quentin on Edovo and I was blessed.
