At 14, I moved to Stillwell, Oklahoma, with my foster mom and dad, who treated me with kindness and compassion.
My father was physically and sexually abusive, and I was four years old at the time. At 13, I was removed from my home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and placed into foster care. At 14, I moved to Stillwell, Oklahoma, with my foster mom and dad, who treated me with kindness and compassion. They helped me understand that my past was not my fault. At 18, I returned home to live with my mom, but things quickly started to go downhill. At 19, my mom sold me to her now deceased husband in exchange for a shot of dope. I suffered every form of abuse. At 27, I left my husband and moved to Arkansas, where life seemed to improve, until the day I committed my crime. I am deeply sorry for the pain I have caused.
I’m so sorry to hear all that, your story is incredibly painful, and it’s admirable that you found the strength to keep going despite the difficulties. You are very brave to have shared this.
Such a great story, I’m sorry to hear what you have gone through and how your foster parents treated you kindly. I know that you will get your life back on track after what happened, and you have to believe you will get your life back on track.
