This is my first ever written and published book. One Love: Kruze Thru Memory Lanez is my life story. I invite you into my world by sharing childhood memories, life lessons, and taking you on one unforgettable journey. This book is about love, family, life, prison, and resilience. It gives insight into a kid who grew up consumed by rap music and gang life. I tackle trauma, adolescence, addiction, and my encounters with the criminal justice system, starting as a juvenile delinquent. This book may not be for everyone, but I dare you to give it a chance and walk in my shoes for one day. Even if you can’t relate, I believe this book will have you invested once you start reading. I hope this book reaches the eyes and hearts of those who may lack guidance, feel troubled, or face hardships. This book is for you. One Love. Must read. Please enjoy.

These stories arrive by mail.

Every month, a physical envelope arrives at your door, postmarked from San Quentin Village, California. Inside, you will find original artwork, writing, and recipes from real contributors, along with a personal letter from me, Diane Kahn, founder of Humans of San Quentin, about the people who made them. You read it. You keep it.

Every piece comes from someone serving a sentence. Every piece reminds you they are so much more than that.
