Dog-Faced Killer

My yesterdays are gone

Never to be relived

Except as memories

As any other fantasies

Post-traumatic tragedies

Born out by other realities

All I have is today

It is with me

I may grasp it

I must embrace it

In all its immensity

For it is my only reality

Tomorrow is unforeseen

What does it mean?

So easy I learned

To pull the trigger

My world be burned

When faced with collapse

I chose to relapse

To violence

My old

unforgiving friend

What will tomorrow bring?

Life, perhaps

But always death

Unforeseen

Unforgiven

Dog-faced Killer
