I learned in order to control your anger, you must know what makes you angry and then, prevent yourself from being in those situations.

Incarcerated: 3 years

Housed: San Quentin State Prison

I have been to three prisons already in four years.

I learned something in each prison I have been to.

I learned to be patient, resilient, and to always educate yourself.

I learned in order to control your anger, you must know what makes you angry and then, prevent yourself from being in those situations.

I learned to think about the reaction before the action.

I learned hurt people hurt people. And when you hurt someone you’re hurting their family, too.

I learned my mom and dad weren’t there when I was growing up because they were going through their own personal trauma.

I learned so much in just four years, but I still have a lifetime of more learning to do.

Just like Malcom X says, “Education is a passport to the future, for tomorrow is for the people who prepare for it today.” 📸 : Pictures shared by his mom Ayesha
