Dear Humans of San Quentin,
Sending my love to all of you who help voice my words on social media. I’m sending a picture of my team and me. A lot of the other guys were at work, so we went ahead and took a picture for everyone to see that it’s real and up and running. My program is here. We are working on getting a ring so we can start sparring and competing in prison. I will leave a part of me behind these walls, with a solid program built on discipline and respect. The approval of this program will shine a light on how you should never count someone out who strongly believes that his work is not done in life. No matter the odds, hard work, discipline, and sacrifice pay off. To all my bros in the struggle, to my kids: don’t quit on your dreams. To the rest of the world: I’m coming. Through Fight 4 Freedom, we’re training for transformation physically, mentally, and emotionally. Our mission is to show the California Department of Corrections and the world that growth, unity, and redemption are possible. We’re not just training to train. We’re training to become better people.
