When I found out about Humans of San Quentin, it made my heart smile. It feels good to know there are people out there who care enough to help prisoners stay connected with the world because there are still good people in prison. Iโ€™m from Brooklyn, New York, and Iโ€™m a professional artist and reentry writer. I would love to have my profile set up and my art displayed.

The work I do means a lot to me, and I want to share it with others. I like reading comic books, drawing, writing reentry books, designing sneakers, and making music.

I sing and rap professionally. Iโ€™m also interested in connecting with people who understand how to run and operate a business. Iโ€™m single, never been married, and hope to one day find someone honest, loving, and supportive who knows how to love for real. The handkerchiefs I draw are all handmade, using only ink and colored pencils. They sell from $1,000 to $1,000,000 online. Youโ€™ll get to see some great work soon. Donations can be made through gettingout. com, under โ€œEntertainment,โ€ and you can email me to be added to my contact list. For anyone who writes me, I always write back. I also want to share something Iโ€™ve learned about building credit. An authorized user tradeline is an account that can appear on your credit record when youโ€™re added as an authorized user. This helps build credit without being responsible for the accountโ€™s charges. You can purchase tradelines from credit unions at affordable prices or be added to a family or friendโ€™s account. A tradeline is any account listed on your credit file, like auto loans, student loans, or credit cards. When buying tradelines, make sure you do it through a credit union and check that the account has a high limit and is old in age. Each tradeline costs around $150 to $200. Buy at least five to build a strong credit score. Itโ€™s all about preparation and smart choices for when we reenter society.
