R.I.P. Tiara Embrey

A few months after the father-daughter prom, where I danced with my daughter Tiara Embrey and my stepdaughters Ase and Ariana, my daughter Tiara Embrey, 28, was killed in a car accident.

That took a lot out of me.
But to honor her, I will remain positive and productive and continue to push forward
because that’s what she would have wanted.

I will always love her.
I miss her so much.

R.I.P. Tiara Embrey

Since I’ve been incarcerated (October 4, 2011), I’ve attended many classes:
Narcotics Anonymous, Alcoholics Anonymous, Dads Against Drugs, Al-Anon, No More Jeans, Coalition for Justice, Kit Kat, Victim Impact
and I’ve graduated from vocational classes in computer literacy, technology, and small engine repair.

I graduated from vocational plumbing on July 25, 2025.

I took these classes to better myself and take accountability for my actions.

The most meaningful was a family communication workshop
the one that gave me that beautiful, final dance with Tiara.

Thank you,
Steven
